I made it to Canada (country number 46), Detroit and Hawaii. And my net worth didn’t suffer too much. No doubt that August 2019 was a great month overall. Theatre, travels and fun people made the month.
The year is running through fast – I can’t believe we are already at the end of July 2019. How time flys as you get older and older. Not to mention, how my memory fades. I’m loving having these written updates to document and review my progress.
I like starting new traditions and feel a mid-year portfolio review is a good calendar addition. I’ve already got in and reviewed my goals for 2019, so now it’s time to deep dive into the money. Time to have a look at the portfolio and check it is helping me towards my long term goals.

Belated arriving is my April update – I did debate combining into May’s but since a lot has happened and I love the simplicity of a chronological record here we go! As expected there is travel, running and financial updates with real numbers.
March, a fun month when the clocks change to summer time and the days get a bit warmer and longer. Although sadly in 2019 we also had the Brexit debacle ticking away in the background, would we leave or not? On what terms?
